Calendar Section

Calendar

Keep all of your important appointments at your fingertips with this calendar. Monitor your progress by looking at the "big picture".

Weekly Page

Weekly Pages

Use these pages to help keep all you have to do in order. Writing abbreviated lists on this page helps your memory and makes it easier to see the big picture. Two blank pages provide more room if needed (i.e. homework lists, shopping, etc.). The "Hours Worked" section comes in handy if you're not being paid on an automated system (also for hrs spent studying etc.). Weekly "GOALS" and "TOTALS" help you stay on track. Write an important goal in each area. Check off accomplished goals in the column with the "X". Next to it, in the "G" column (G for "goal"), write down a number for specific to-dos. In the "A" column (A for "actual"), tally the number accomplished. (explained below in more detail). Familial/Social is structured a little differently, because people are not to-do items. It will help you focus on the people in your life, and can be handy in keeping track of obligations, information needed, or activities planned. The Dating/Marital area gives you an opportunity to write down reminders to do things for that special someone in your life. Remember that nurturing relationships may be the most satisfying and rewarding thing we ever do!

Wellness Planning

One effective way to plan for balance is to use the GOALS and TO-DO together. Choose one thing you feel is important from each area, and write it in the goal section. Doing this will help you remember what is most important, and meanwhile nurture each area of wellness for the week. I recommend starting with this before using the number system for goal setting, since numbers need to mean something to be effective. To use the number system, write the most important thing out as mentioned above; then, mark a certain number of other TO-DO items in a way you recognize, and write that number in the (G) section. At the end of the week, you may review how many of those things you actually did, and write it in the (A) section. All of these principles are effective at the daily level as well.

Daily Page

Daily Pages

This section is the "meat" of the planner. It is as flexible as you want it to be--use it however it suits you best. "Day" and "Date" are intentionally left blank to help keep opportunity open for any day of the year to be used in this planner, so no more wasted pages due to printed dates. Time slots start early and end late, just like any usual working day. Half hour increments in the most active time of day enable you to plan necessary specifics. Use the "Notes" section to write reminders, phone numbers, or anything else you need to remember later. When a specific time is scheduled for you to do something, it will likely actually get done.

Monthly Page

Multipurpose Note Pages

These pages can be used in whatever way helps you most. Jot down dreams, abstract ideas, or plans that don't quite have a place in your life yet. Or, you can record lists, long-term goals, and ideas that need to get out of your head. Separate them into the different areas of wellness. Remember, you can develop details to reach these goals later.

Quotes/General Notes

Ready Notepad

Ever heard a great quote in class or at work and forgot who it was from? Have you ever experienced the frustration of a brilliant epiphany forgotten because it wasn't written down? Well, this section of the planner gives you a spot to jot them down. Poetic and inspirational moments in life are scattered everywhere--bring them together using these pages in your planner.
